Thank you for using Modo News (the “App”). This Privacy Policy is where the information collected is described and what is done with it, and how you can manage and control the use of your information.

What Do We Collect?

We are not tracking individual use and we mean it. We don’t track what you are reading and your bookmarks are stored locally on your iPhone. We do collect statistical aggregate data about usage for server performance optimizations and for feature development prioritization, but this data is not tied to you individually. Your credit card or app payment information is processed by Apple or Stripe Inc. which is our third party payment processor. We do not have any visibility to any payment information.

What Do We Do With This Information?

We will never supply your personal information to any third party for any reason.

Is My Information Secure?

We value your privacy and will never ask you to fill out any personal information. Should our services be compromised, your payment information is shielded by Apple and Stripe Inc.

What About Cookies?

Our app doesn’t have cookies. Our web site performs no tracking on usage.

Notice To Users

We are providing this notice to:

• Children and Parents, pursuant to Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"). The App is not intended for use by children under 12 years of age.
• Consumers in Europe, pursuant to General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"). We do not collect or sell personal information.
• Consumers in California, pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and California Online Privacy Protection Act (”CalOPPA”). We do not collect or sell personal information.

Changes

We reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to change this Privacy Policy. The most current version of the Privacy Policy will supersede all previous versions. We encourages you to periodically review the Privacy Policy to stay informed of our updates. If you disagree with changes to the Privacy Policy, then you should stop using the App. Upgrades to the App’s services will occur, and that these terms will apply to any upgrades. We will do our best to communicate the context behind these changes.
